On Saturday 28th September This is Rubbish, an anti food waste campaign focusing on the enormous issue of industry level food waste will be running workshops at an FRP Give or Take Event in Walthamstow.
This is Rubbish will lead you through the food supply chain with story-based activities and practical games, and look forward to talking to you about what the local community can do.
Visitors to this Give or Take event can take action on the day by helping This is Rubbish chop surplus fruit.
At 3pm this fruit will be paraded to Wathamstow Town Square for a public, participatory fruit salad toss. The fruit salad will be given out for free to any curious passers by.
